“Find and Write to a New Penpal”

In order to find a new penpal that I would be able to maintain a lasting “penpal” relationship with, I messaged a two of my newest girly friends on twitter. I know how scary it can be to give your address to a complete stranger, so that’s why I was a bit hesitant when I got emails from people I haven’t even spoken to. There was one guy claiming to be overseas in the army. Okay? …he never spoke to me before. I have to trust that whoever has my address isn’t going to show up in the middle of the night or start stalking me. I was quite happy with my choices for penpals.

One friend on twitter thought his 12 year old daughter might be interested, and I think it’s a good idea to get her involved with a “penpal” but perhaps someone more her age, so they have something in common. I work with children and youth, so I know how to relate to them but I don’t think a 12 year old would be an appropriate match for me.

So… my newest penpals are:

Lady Aether. Yes, you’ve probably seen her writing on here. She is a totally amazing “epic” gamer girl! <3 I adore her! I can’t wait to send letters and perhaps small gifts back and forth. You can follow her on Twitter @LadyAether

and…

Brandi Lynn. She is amazing as well! The little “sister” of my fellow FPS (Free Play Syndicate) gamer. She designed the “Midnite Faery” picture that I am using for the Gaming & Giving Back Challenge Suggestions post and as my signature on Team Cena. I can’t wait to get to know her better 🙂 You can follow her on Twitter @BrandiLynn_Ref

Letters are in my bag with stamps! It takes 2 Canadian stamps to send a letter to the US!
